![]() ![]() The long and short is the more MIB walks we receive the higher the quality of the solution we can deliver. In one case we received over 75 for one manufacturer alone. For the hardware health monitoring included in SAM we received no less than 10 customer submitted MIB walks for each manufacturer. Differences in MegaRAID software versions, RAID controllers, firmware, make/model of hard drive, or microcode versions can all introduce subtle differences in the the MIB walk that may influence whether the solution we provide works or not. We don't usually like to implement a feature around one or even two customer submitted MIB walks. If you or anyone else in the community are willing to share more MIB walks of IBM Servers with MegaRAID software installed they would be much appreciated. ![]()
